 On May 5th 2009, at 11.00 a.m, at the EXIMBANK - Gruppo Veneto Banca headquarters on 171/1 Ştefan cel Mare şi Sfânt boulevard, the winners of the promotional campaign „Pay your purchases by card MasterCard EXIMBANK - Gruppo Veneto Banca and get the chance to see live the UEFA Champions League Final!” have been defined.
The Mastercard and Cirrus/Maestro EXIMBANK - Gruppo Veneto Banca cardholders, who made at least 10 retail transactions in Moldova and abroad on total amount of minimum 1,000 Lei during the campaign period – 15.12.2008-30.04.2009 could participate in the campaign.
In the presence of the validating committee and mass-media, 64 winners who met the campaign’s terms of participation and made the greatest number of transactions in the total volume exceeding the minimum established amount, have been defined.
The Grand Prix – two tickets for UEFA Champions League Final to be held in Rome on „Olimpico” stadium, was won by Miss Iuliana Dulgher. In addition to these two tickets, offered by the association MasterCard International Inc. – the official sponsor of the UEFA Champions League, the Grand Prix holder has also gained two return air tickets Chişinău-Rome and a hotel double room in Rome for one night.
Organization of this promotional campaign, occasioned to one of the most prestigious sports events in Europe – the UEFA Champions League Final, has allowed the bank to stimulate cards utilization on goods/services purchase and, at the same time, has contributed to increasing the number of Mastercard cards issued by the bank.
