| On September 25-27 Saint Andrews, Scotland hosted the Regional Conference VISA CEMEA - Russia and CIS, which was devoted to credit card products and acquiring with VISA. The program of the Conference, which was opened by President of VISA CEMEA Ms Anne–L. Cobb and General Director for Russia, CIS countries and South East Europe Mr. Tony Brogna, focused on the ways of promoting credit cards by banks, principles for building a strategy on the market, role of co-branding and affinity cards in card portfolio and customer attraction as well as effective management of credit risk.
The speakers provided practical recommendations to the participants aimed at maximizing the profitability of acquiring and card business as a whole.
Participation of Eximbank in the conference is part of the bank’s policy aimed at expansion of the range of credit products, increasing the profitability of retail card services and strengthening competitively.
