|The grand opening of the 5th Universal Exhibition-Forum “Small Business’2005” took place
on April 20, 2005 at 11.00 a.m.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Moldova- Mr. Valeriu Lazari, representatives from organizers of the exhibition - IEC "Moldexpo", Department of Commerce, Support Fund of Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development of the Republic of Moldova, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova, Chisinau Mayor’s Office, general sponsor - USAID BIZPRO / Moldova project and sponsor of the exhibition –JSCB “Eximbank” as well as other participants of the exhibition.
Exhibition-forum organized under the headline "The Year of Microfinance" drew enormous interest both from the financial institutions, specializing in the field of loans for small business and from companies, representing all fields of national economy of the country.
Within the framework of the exhibition a wide range of loan products, directed towards small and medium businesses were presented by Eximbank, Moldova-Agroindbank, companies- ProCredit, Microinvest and Rural Investment Services Project (SRISP), financed by the World Bank.
This year Eximbank has been presenting at the exhibition a new product – “Loans for Small Business”,
which is intended to meet the financial needs of small entrepreneurs. The product features attractive interest rates and additional conditions, allowing borrowers to effectively plan and manage their financial flows.
In addition to this product Eximbank has presented to the participants and guests of the exhibition some well-known products - loans under the Rural Financing and Small Enterprise Development Project,
financed by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), Project of preferential loans for creation the new work places, financed by the Occupancy Fund, the subsidiary loan agreement with the Credit Line Directorate of the Ministry of Finance of Moldova, within the framework of the Rural Investment Services Project financed (RISP) by the World Bank , bank cards, etc.
