The opening ceremony was attended by official authorities of the Republic of Moldova: the Chairman of Parliament Mr. Marian Lupu, the president of the Academy of Science of Moldova Mr. George Duca, representatives from organizers of the exhibition: general director of the Poliproject Exhibition LTD- Mr. Arcadie Andronic and general director of the International Exhibition Center "Moldexpo" –Mrs. Natalia Ciocan; the president of Eximbank - Mr. Marcel Chirca and leaders of companies specializing in the field of information technologies.

From the first minutes of the opening the exhibition drew enormous interest from the visitors, which can be attributed to a large amount of actions and offers by more than 50 participating companies. The business-forum dedicated to the introduction of the “digital signature” in the Republic of Moldova was also a big success. It was organized by the Center for Special Telecommunication of the Republic of Moldova within the project BIZProMoldova and financed USAID. Eximbank IT specialists took part in the forum as well.

This year Eximbank is presenting at the exhibition a new product “Credit card with 50 day grace period”. Issuing of this product within the framework of the exhibition is directed toward potential participants and guests of the exhibition. The card can be used for paying for goods and services, including payments by Internet. Adequacy of this step is confirmed by the interest to this product demonstrated by the participants and guests of the exhibition and a large number of new credit card applications signed during the first day of the exhibition.
