Eximbank is a principal member of international payment system VISA International
The Board of Directors VISA CEMEA at its meeting on June 8, 2007, attributed the status of the principal member of VISA International to Eximbank. The attribution of a new status confirms once again the successful activity of the bank in this payment system during last 5 years, and represents a new step towards further development of the bank. |

On 20 – 21 of May 2007 the annual meeting of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) was held in Kazan, capital city of the Republic of Tatarstan (Russian Federation). In the framework of the meeting were examined the results of the activity of the EBRD in the year 2007, report of the donor-countries, opportunities for investments in the Russian Federation, in general, and in the Republic of Tatarstan, in particular, etc . |

On 15-18 of May 2007 the annual Western Union Agent Conference for Europe, Middle East, Africa and South Asia (EMEASA) was held in Istanbul, Turkey. On behalf of Eximbank the annual meeting was attended by Mr. Veaceslav Burcovschii, Vice-President and Mr. Adrian Balmus, Head of the International Payments Department. |

Eximbank has opened a new currency exchange office in Causeni
On May 7, 2007 a new currency exchange office in Сauseni (80 km. to the South-east of Chisinau) began its activity. The exchange office is located at 7, Tighina str., in the “Epicentr” shop.

Eximbank was granted a credit line for the amount of 10 mln. Euro
On April 24th, 2007 Eximbank signed with the Italian bank Veneto Banca (the sole shareholder of the bank) a Loan Agreement for the amount of 10 mln. Euro. The funds of the credit line will be used for financing the medium-term projects of corporate clients for a term of up to 7 years. |

Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of EXIMBANK
Today, April 26, 2007, in the city of Montebelluna (province of Treviso, Italy) the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of EXIMBANK was held, which examined the financial results of the bank activity in 2006. During the meeting it was mentioned that the year 2006 became the turning-point for the JSCB "EXIMBANK" Gruppo Veneto Banca, being the year which opened the new page in the strong long-term development both for the bank itself and for the whole banking system of the Republic of Moldova. |

Official opening of COMINFO Moldova’2007 exhibition took place
Today, April 25, 2007 at 11.00 a.m. at the Central Pavilion of the International Exhibition Center "Moldexpo" took place the grand opening of the 15th International Specialized Exhibition of Information technologies „COMINFO Moldova’2007”, under the patronage of the Ministry of Information Development of the Republic of Moldova. The company Poliproject Exhibition LTD is the organizer of the jubilee exhibition and the JSCB“Eximbank”is the general sponsor for the forth time in a row. |

Took place a press- conference dedicated to the “Week of Information Technologies in Moldova”
On April 18, 2007 the building of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova hosted a press-conference dedicated to the “Week of Information Technologies in Moldova”, which will be held during the period of 23-28 April, 2007. Within the framework of the Week a wide range of activities, directed at development of information technologies in Moldova will be conducted.
